Khanom khai
Khanom khai ((タイ語:ขนมไข่), ) is a Thai oval sweetmeat made with egg and sugar. ==History== Khanom khai is a Thai sweet from the Narai era, considered by many to be the golden age of Thai sweets. At that time, goods (including khanom khai) were sold via boat on canals which became known as floating markets. The dessert is consumed at special occasions and also eaten as a snack food.
